Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has opened online applications for the C-DAC Centre in North East (CINE) JIT June 2026 recruitment cycle. Who Can Apply?

Technology and Engineering Roles

• Qualification: You need B.E./B.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE, EE, EEE or a related branch, or M.E./M.Tech, MCA, PG degree in Science or Computer Applications, or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline as listed for the role.
• Marks: Most engineering and senior engineering roles require 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Some Project Associate rows accept 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Experience: Domain experience varies by post, starting from 0-2 years for some Project Associate roles and going up to 9 years for Project Manager roles.

Support, Technician and Officer Roles

• Project Technician: ITI/NCVT trade certificate with experience, diploma in engineering, graduation in Computer Science/Electronics/IT/Computer Applications, or DOEACC qualification as per the notice.
• Project Support Staff: Graduation with at least 50% marks and relevant post-qualification experience, or post graduation with required graduate-level marks.
• Project Officer: CA, LLM, CS, CMA, MBA, post graduation, LLB or equivalent professional qualification with purchase-domain experience.

Important: The qualification must be from an AICTE/UGC approved college, institute or recognized university. If your university uses CGPA or grades, you must keep proof of percentage conversion ready.

Age Limit

• Project Technician: Upper age limit is 30 years.
• Project Support Staff: Upper age limit is 35 years.
• Senior Project Engineer: Upper age limit is 40 years.
• Project Engineer and Project Associate: Upper age limit is 45 years in the listed rows.
• Project Officer: Upper age limit is 50 years.
• Project Manager: Upper age limit is 56 years.
• Age reference date: Age and experience will be checked as on the last date of application, 20 June 2026.
• Relaxation: SC, ST, OBC, PwD, Ex-servicemen and government employees can get relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Project Support Staff: Rs. 20,200 to Rs. 28,000 per month
• Project Technician: Rs. 22,200 to Rs. 25,000 per month
• Project Associate: Rs. 28,750 to Rs. 35,000 per month
• Project Officer: Rs. 35,500 to Rs. 55,000 per month
• Project Engineer: Rs. 39,100 to Rs. 50,000 per month
• Senior Project Engineer: Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per month
• Project Manager: Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 1,65,000 per month

The pay is consolidated monthly salary. C-DAC says the starting pay depends on the minimum experience required for the role, and higher experience within the advertised bracket may be considered under C-DAC policy.

Selection Process
