CBI FLC Counsellor Recruitment 2026: Overview
Central Bank of India is recruiting Financial Literacy Centre Counsellors through its sponsored society, Central Bank of India Samajik Utthan Avam Prashikshan Sansthan (CBI-SUAPS). The contractual engagement covers centres in Balrampur, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Surajpur and Surguja in Chhattisgarh, under the Ambikapur Region. The society supports financial awareness among rural communities and self-employment training for rural youth through its wider network of centres.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract: Your appointment runs for one year. Renewal is at the bank's discretion under its policies, so you should not treat it as automatic continuation.
- Renewal review: A performance appraisal must reach the Regional Manager one month before the contract ends. The notice also links renewal to appraisal parameters and a minimum B grading of the RSETI Centre, using that term in its renewal clause.
- Leave: The contract allows 15 days of leave in a year, with a maximum of two days in a month.
- Transfer declaration: Although this recruitment names centres in Chhattisgarh, the application includes your consent to serve anywhere in India and to transfers at the bank's discretion. Read that declaration before signing.
- Correct information: False details, hidden material facts or failure to meet the stated conditions can cancel your candidature. If a problem is found after appointment, the contract can be ended without notice.
- Management discretion: The bank may relax requirements in suitable cases or decide not to fill a position. Sending an application and apparently meeting the criteria does not create a right to an interview.
- Disputes: The application declaration places legal proceedings connected with the application or advertisement before the relevant courts, tribunals or forums in Mumbai.

Use the Annexure-A application format and address it to Agriculture & Social Banking Department, Central Bank of India, Regional Office Ambikapur, Dhanjal Complex, near Government Polytechnic College, Nemnakala, Ambikapur, District Surguja, Chhattisgarh 497001. Mark the envelope Application for the post of Counsellor of FLC on contract basis.
You can also place your application in the letter box at the bank's Ambikapur Regional Office. The notice rejects incomplete applications and applications received after the closing date.

- Extension letter dated 23 September 2026: The signed letter extends the application window to allow wider participation. Its district-wise table and total take precedence here over the inconsistent headline in the accompanying advertisement.

Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university. Ex-servicemen and applicants from outside banking need banking and financial-services knowledge and completion of a relevant IIBF certification course, as specified in the notice.
