BRIC-inStem Project Associate Recruitment 2026: Overview

Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (BRIC-inStem) is recruiting a Project Associate-I for Dr. Bhavana Muralidharan's laboratory in Bengaluru. The lab studies brain development in health and disease, bringing stem-cell biology together with molecular and imaging approaches. This is a grant-linked contractual research role for someone who can work carefully with biological samples, analyse results and communicate scientific findings in a busy interdisciplinary setting. It offers direct exposure to questions that connect basic developmental biology with disease research.

The position suits a researcher who is already comfortable in a laboratory and wants deeper work in neuroscience, stem-cell culture and epigenetic analysis. You will need to move between hands-on experiments, microscopy, record keeping and discussions with other team members. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract: The initial engagement is for one year and may be renewed only if the grant still needs the role and your progress is satisfactory.
• No regular claim: This temporary appointment does not create a right to regularisation, permanency or a future vacancy at BRIC-inStem.
