The position is based at the School of Computer Science, Engineering and Applications, Khajamalai Campus. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MCA / M.Sc. in Computer Science / M.Sc. in Data Science / M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence / M.Sc. in Information Technology or equivalent
• OR: B.E. (Computer Science & Engineering) or equivalent
• OR: M.Tech. (Computer Science & Engineering) or equivalent
• Desirable Skill 1: Proficiency in Python, Machine Learning, SQL, data preprocessing, and AI-assisted development tools — these are the core tools used daily on this project
• Desirable Skill 2: Hands-on experience with Random Forest algorithms and NLP-based sentiment analysis, since the project involves predicting career outcomes and analysing feedback text from students
• Desirable Skill 3: Familiarity with dashboard tools like Power BI/Tableau and Python libraries such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy will strengthen your candidature during the interview

Even if you do not have every desirable skill listed above, you should still attend the interview if your core qualification matches — the desirable skills mainly help the panel judge your readiness for the specific tasks on this project.

Salary

• You will get a fellowship of Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated).
• The position is purely temporary and the appointment will end automatically once the project is completed, without prior notice.
• The project duration is one year and seven months, or until the project is completed, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)

Selection is done directly through a walk-in interview — there is no written exam:

1. Document Verification: Bring your original mark statements and degree/provisional certificates (from 10th onwards), a recent passport-size photo, a valid government ID, and an updated bio-data/CV.
2. Interview: Conducted on the spot by the Principal Investigator of the CMRG project.

Selection does not guarantee any future claim for permanent absorption in the university or funding agency. The Principal Investigator reserves the right to end the position if your performance is unsatisfactory. There is no bond period or service obligation mentioned in the notification.
