ASU Guest Faculty Logistics Recruitment 2026: Overview
Assam Skill University (ASU) is engaging Guest Faculty in Logistics and Supply Chain for its Department of Applied Management at Mangaldai. This is a temporary teaching engagement, with the university using a walk-in format to meet applicants at its campus. The specialisation places the role within applied management rather than a general faculty recruitment across several departments.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Initial tenure: Your engagement will initially run up to 31 December 2026. The notice does not promise a longer appointment.
- No regular appointment: Taking this guest-faculty role gives you no right to regularisation or permanent absorption at ASU. The same restriction applies to future jobs or programmes run by the university.
- Recruitment changes: The advertised requirement is indicative. ASU may change the number or nature of posts, or cancel, withdraw or reschedule the recruitment.
- University decision: The competent authority makes the final decision on suitability and interview arrangements. The notice says it will not enter into correspondence over those decisions.
- Travel: You will need to meet your own travel and daily expenses for attending the interview; the university will not reimburse these costs.
- Conduct: Canvassing can disqualify you. Any dispute relating to this engagement falls under the jurisdiction of the Gauhati High Court, Guwahati.
- Updates: ASU directs you to check its website for amendments and further notices. It will not send separate individual updates.

The walk-in venue is the Guest House, Assam Skill University Campus, Mangaldai. Reporting is at 10:00 AM, and the university will not allow entry after the stated reporting time.

You need a bachelor’s degree and the specified first-class postgraduate or professional qualification, along with NET/SLET/SET or an applicable PhD exemption. Relevant industry or field experience without NET may be considered if no suitable NET-qualified applicant is available.
Bring the prescribed form, originals and self-attested copies to the Guest House at ASU Campus, Mangaldai. If you are employed, bring your employer’s NOC.
You receive Rs. 1,500 per lecture, or Rs. 800 per lecture if already employed in a government institution. Both rates have a Rs. 40,000 monthly ceiling; no other allowances are payable.
