APS Old Amritsar Cantt Principal Recruitment 2026: Overview
Army Public School (APS), Old Amritsar Cantt, a school run under the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), is looking for a Principal to lead the school, which teaches up to Class VIII (middle school). This is a term-based appointment: you join for a fixed first term and can later be made regular if your work meets AWES standards.

Only a hard copy of the application with supporting documents is considered, so do not rely on email alone. The AWES Cell email given in the advertisement is dirawes.wc@awesindia.edu.in.
The form asks for your service as Principal, Vice Principal, PGT and TGT with exact dates, plus your current salary and notice period, so keep these details ready before you start.

Regular Master's degree with at least 50% aggregate marks in a CBSE-notified teaching subject (preferably one taught in Army Public Schools) from a recognised university/institute, and a regular B.Ed with at least 50% aggregate marks from a UGC/NCTE-recognised university/institution.
