ANGRAU Teaching Associate Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) is conducting a walk-in interview to fill one Teaching Associate position on a full-time contract basis. The engagement is for 11 months from the date of joining or until a regular staff member fills the position, whichever comes first. This post is located at the S.V. Agricultural College campus in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, and falls under the Department of Agricultural Extension Education. The post is reserved for OC-PH category as per university reservation rules. If no OC-PH candidate attends, the selection committee will consider candidates from the general merit list.

Who Can Apply?

Option A - Ph.D. Holders:

• Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant subject (Agricultural Extension Education or related field)

Option B - Master's Degree Holders:

• Qualification: Master's Degree in the relevant subject
• Experience: At least 3 years of teaching or research experience (evidenced through Fellowship, Associateship, or Training engagements)
• Graduation: Bachelor's Degree of 4 or 5 years duration with First Division or equivalent OGPA
• Research: At least one published research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) or NAAS-rated journal (rating 4.0 or above)

Option C - Basic Sciences Candidates:

• Candidates holding a Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's and 2 years Master's must also have NET qualification

Age Limit

• Maximum age for Men: 40 years
• Maximum age for Women: 45 years

Salary

• Master's Degree holders: Rs. 61,000 per month plus applicable HRA
• Ph.D. Degree holders: Rs. 67,000 per month plus applicable HRA
• HRA will be given as per existing state Government rates applicable at various places and is subject to change as per Government orders

Selection Process

Selection will be done in a single stage:

1. Walk-in Interview: Candidates need to appear in person at S.V. Agricultural College, Tirupati on 26 March 2026 at 11:00 A.M. The selection committee's decision will be final and binding in all respects.
2. Medical Examination: Selected candidates will need to undergo a medical examination at their own expense before the appointment is confirmed.
