ACTREC Senior Resident Medical Oncology Recruitment 2026: Overview
The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), the Kharghar (Navi Mumbai) campus of Tata Memorial Centre, is holding a walk-in interview for Senior Residents in Medical Oncology. ACTREC is a grant-in-aid institute of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.
This is a fixed-tenure residency, not a permanent job: the term runs up to 31 July 2027 and you must join immediately if selected. Doctors with an MD/DNB in General Medicine or Radiation Oncology who want hands-on oncology training at a dedicated cancer centre should look at this. If you cannot travel to Navi Mumbai, the notice also offers an online interview route.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply, whether for the walk-in or the online interview.
- Security/caution deposit: You pay a refundable deposit at joining, or ACTREC deducts it from your salary in five equal instalments. It is refunded without interest once you complete the residency.
- Early resignation: You can resign after five months of service if you give one month's notice (six months in total), and you still get the deposit back.
- Leaving without notice: Your last month's salary (30 days) is forfeited if you quit without serving the notice period.
- Accommodation: Hostel rooms on campus are offered subject to availability.
- Shortlisting rights: Tata Memorial Centre may cancel the posts, set minimum standards or cut-off marks, and limit how many candidates are called for an MCQ or interview. The decision of the Dean (Health Sciences), ACTREC is final.

Walk-in: Report to Meeting Room 306, 3rd Floor, Paymaster Shodhika, ACTREC, Sector-22, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai 410 210 between 10:00 AM and 10:15 AM on the interview day; candidates are seen only within this reporting window. Bring a recent CV, a passport-size photograph, originals and photocopies of your educational and work-experience certificates, and your Aadhaar card.
Online interview: If you cannot attend in person, email your CV, educational and work-experience certificates and Aadhaar card as PDFs to clinicalacademics@actrec.gov.in by 12:00 PM on 30 October 2026. Use the subject line "Application for the post of Senior Resident (Medical Oncology)". Only shortlisted candidates receive the interview link.
