ABGH Senior Resident Anaesthesia Recruitment 2026: Overview
Acharyashree Bhikshu Government Hospital (ABGH) is hiring Senior Residents in Anaesthesia at Moti Nagar, New Delhi. The hospital is making ad-hoc appointments against specialist posts under the Government of NCT of Delhi. Your engagement will follow the Government of India Residency Scheme, with continuation linked to the hospital's staffing arrangements.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Tenure: The ad-hoc appointment starts with 89 days and may be extended within the overall three-year senior residency limit. Previous residency service counts towards that limit.
- Early end: Your service ends when a regular or specialist doctor joins. An extension does not guarantee that you can serve the full maximum tenure.
- Reservation: The notice provides horizontal reservation for persons with disabilities under the applicable rules. Delhi-issued OBC and EWS certificates are needed for those reservation claims.
- Unfilled reserved posts: If suitable applicants from a notified category are unavailable, the hospital may make a short ad-hoc appointment from another category as described in the notice.
- Joining: You must join within seven working days of the offer letter. The hospital says it will cancel the offer if you miss this period and will not extend it.
- Waiting list: Any waiting list remains valid until the next interview or six months after the result, whichever comes first.
- Travel: You will not receive TA/DA for attending. If the hospital continues interviews on another working day, the board will announce this verbally.
- Changes: The hospital may revise the advertised positions or amend or cancel the recruitment. The Medical Superintendent's decision governs disputes, with legal jurisdiction in Delhi/New Delhi.

Attend at ABGH, Moti Nagar, New Delhi 110015; the interview venue is the Conference Room. The schedule gives reporting from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and an interview start of 11:30 AM, but a later instruction gives 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM for attendance in Room 304, Establishment Branch, third floor. To account for the conflicting cutoffs, aim to report at 9:30 AM.
The hospital asks you to download the prescribed application form before attending and says forms will not be supplied at the venue. Complete every relevant entry; incomplete applications can be rejected.
