Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) is engaging a Counsellor on contract for its Health Centre. The Directorate of Students Welfare is handling this recruitment at the university's Main Campus, Chatha. This is a visiting engagement during office hours, with attendance twice a week.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial engagement: The contract starts with a six-month term. The university may extend it for a further six months if your performance is satisfactory and it still needs the service.
• Regular employment: This contract does not give you a claim to regularisation, absorption or appointment against a regular university post. Keep that condition in mind when considering the role.
• Leaving the role: You must give one month's notice if you decide to leave the engagement. The notice links this requirement specifically to relinquishing the contractual appointment.
