PJTAU Teaching Associate Recruitment 2026: Overview

Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU) needs one Teaching Associate in the Department of Horticulture at its flagship College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. The person selected will teach horticulture courses to students of the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture degree programme for the 2026-27 academic year only.

This is a walk-in interview run by the college's Associate Dean, so there is no online form and no application fee. If you hold a master's degree in Horticulture, you can apply; a Ph.D. in Horticulture with NET is preferred and also earns you the higher of the two monthly pay rates the notice lists.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Purely temporary: The engagement lasts for the 2026-27 academic year and does not lead to a regular university post.
• Pay depends on your Ph.D.: The notice fixes a separate monthly amount for candidates with and without a doctorate, so carry your Ph.D. certificate if you have one.
• No travel allowance: You bear your own travel and daily costs for attending the interview.
• Already working? Submit a No Objection Certificate from your current employer at the time of the interview.
• Committee decision: The selection committee's choice is final and binding in every respect.

Application Submission Notes

You do not send anything in advance. Report by 10:00 AM on the interview day at the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad 500030 to hand in your bio-data and certificate copies; the interview itself starts at 11:00 AM.

Bring a plain-paper application with your bio-data, the names and addresses of your references and a recent passport-size photo pasted on it. Attach attested photocopies of your supporting documents and carry all your original certificates for checking.
