CSIR CGCRI Project Associate Bioceramics Recruitment 2026: Overview
CSIR-Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CSIR-CGCRI) is recruiting a Project Associate-I for a research project based at its Kolkata institute. The project is sponsored by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and focuses on advanced bioceramics and bioactive glass systems for bone reconstruction, dental restoration and wound healing.

M.Sc. in Chemistry with Physical/Inorganic specialisation, Applied Chemistry, Materials Science or Microbiology, with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/DGPA; OR B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Materials Science, Material Science and Metallurgical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Ceramics, Chemical, Biotechnology or Biomedical Engineering.

Experience in materials synthesis or manufacturing and physical, chemical or biological testing of materials is preferred.
