Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) is hiring a Project Scientist-I in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Its production approach combines solar power with Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project appointment: The advertised engagement is for 11 months. You would join the named research project within the department; the notice describes a project appointment rather than an open-ended faculty position.
• Project setting: The research brings together a cooperative commercial model and smart mushroom-production solutions. Nagaland is the named beneficiary region, while the recruiting department and interview venue are at IIT Guwahati.
• Accommodation: Campus accommodation will not be available to the person selected. You will need to make your own housing arrangements when taking up the assignment.
• Travel: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the test or interview. Keep this in mind if you need to travel to Guwahati.
