CWC Consultant Recruitment 2026: Overview

Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) is engaging a Consultant at its Corporate Office in New Delhi for personnel matters connected with promotions and upgradations. CWC is a Navratna central public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. This is a contractual advisory assignment, governed by the corporation's consultancy guidelines and the conditions attached to this notice.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: The contract begins with a one-year engagement. Further yearly extensions depend on the department's needs and whether CWC finds your services useful and satisfactory; renewal is at the corporation's discretion.
• Contract status: The consultancy does not create an employer-employee relationship with CWC. You cannot claim benefits available to CWC employees simply because you hold this assignment.
• Confidentiality agreement: You must sign a non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement on stamp paper of the appropriate value. Its terms follow the corporation's applicable guidelines.
• Information handling: Information that comes to you during the consultancy must not be shared with an outside agency. This obligation applies to matters you learn about while carrying out the assignment.
• Authority to sign: You cannot sign documents or affidavits for outside agencies on CWC's behalf. The consultancy's advisory role does not give you that authority.
• Office attendance: Corporate Office working hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM on working days. Your controlling officer may also call you in on holidays or ask you to work late.
• Performance and conduct: CWC will monitor your performance under its guidelines. The engagement also calls for integrity, commitment to the work and discipline throughout the consultancy period.
• Leave: You may accumulate one day of leave for each month within a calendar year. Leave cannot carry forward beyond that year, and the permitted monthly holiday needs approval from the relevant head or regional manager.
• Other assignments: You cannot accept work with another organisation or company while this CWC consultancy continues. The restriction covers both government and private organisations.
• Ending the engagement: CWC may terminate the consultancy at any time without notice or reasons. Keep this condition in mind when considering the initial tenure and any later extension.
• Service declarations: CWC may check your declaration with the organisation where you previously worked. If the declaration is untrue, the notice provides for termination without giving reasons.
• Recruitment correspondence: CWC will communicate through email and its website. Keep your email details accurate and check the career portal for updates; the corporation does not accept responsibility for messages lost because of an incorrect address or technical problems.
