Young India Skills University (YISU) is hiring a Senior Accounts Executive for its Hyderabad campus on a contractual basis. The university was established under Telangana state legislation and follows a public-private partnership model designed to connect academic programmes with current industry needs. This role supports the financial systems behind that growing institution, covering daily accounting, statutory compliance, reporting and audit work.

The position is more than a routine data-entry job. You will work across Tally Prime, tax deductions, reconciliations, budget support and management information reports, while also keeping physical and digital records ready for internal, statutory and government review. Strong drafting matters because the desk prepares office notes, correspondence and other formal communication alongside the accounts work.

Your higher-education experience can be especially useful here. The notice gives preference to candidates who have handled finance and accounts in institutions such as NITs, IITs, IIMs, central universities or state universities. You should be comfortable applying financial rules, checking supporting records and explaining figures clearly to colleagues who may not work in accounts.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract period: The initial engagement is for one year and may be extended according to institutional need and your performance. It does not create a right to regularisation or absorption in the university.
• Reservation: The position is unreserved, though applicants from reserved categories may apply.
• Shortlisting: Holding the minimum qualification and experience does not automatically secure a call. YISU can restrict the assessment pool using relevant qualifications and work history.
• Role and pay discretion: The university may offer a lower designation and corresponding pay when it considers that more suitable for the selected person's profile.
• Assessment attendance: Written assessment or interview activity will be held at YISU in Hyderabad, and no TA or DA will be paid for attending.
