TMC Senior Resident Orthopedic Oncology Recruitment 2026: Overview

Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), a grant-in-aid institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, is holding a walk-in interview for Senior Residents in Orthopedic Oncology. The residency sits in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCH&RC), Aganampudi, Visakhapatnam. It is a fixed-tenure residency, not a permanent post, and suits orthopaedic surgeons with an MS or DNB who want to work in orthopaedic cancer surgery at a dedicated cancer hospital.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Fixed tenure: The residency runs only up to 31 July 2027, whenever you join.
• Place of posting: TMC places selected residents as per departmental needs at its Visakhapatnam centre, and candidates who agree to work only at Visakhapatnam get preference.
• Accommodation: Shared rooms may be given subject to availability; if you take one, a fixed hostel charge is cut from your pay every month.
• Serving employees: If you work in a Central or State Government, autonomous or semi-government body, you must bring a No Objection Certificate issued through the head of your institution.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.
