TIFR Research Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview
Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) is hiring a Research Assistant for its Department of High Energy Physics in Mumbai. The role supports the project titled Indian participation in the CMS experiment at CERN: Maintenance, Operation and Upgradation 2020-2025, led by Dr. Rajdeep Mohan Chatterjee and Dr. Shilpi Jain. This is a project appointment at an autonomous institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, which is also a deemed university.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Initial engagement: You will join for one year. The notice allows an extension for up to another two years, depending on your performance, so continued engagement is conditional.
