RCC Operation Theatre Technician Recruitment 2026: Overview

Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram is hiring an Operation Theatre Technician on a one-year contract. Selection is through a walk-in interview held at the centre itself, so there is no online form to fill and no written test to clear. This opening suits people who already work in operation theatres, because every route into the post asks for hands-on hospital experience.

The notice gives you two ways to qualify. A BSc in Operation Theatre Technology needs a shorter stint of hospital work, while the Kerala Government DOTT diploma needs a much longer one. Either way, the experience must come from a large multi-speciality hospital, so time spent at a small clinic or nursing home will not help you here.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: The engagement runs for one year on a contract basis; it is not a regular RCC post.
