Service Conditions and Caveats

• Purely contractual: You get no claim, direct or indirect, to absorption or regularisation in Prasar Bharati.
• Contract length: The engagement starts for one year, with an annual appraisal. It can be extended based on the organisation's needs and your performance.
• Full-time only: You cannot take up any other assignment while you are on this contract.
• Extra tasks: You can be given work beyond the core reporting duties.
• Notice period: Either side can end the contract with one month's notice or one month's pay instead, without giving a reason.
• No pension: This contract does not carry any pension benefit.
• Pay is negotiable: The consolidated monthly pay band in the notice is open to negotiation within the stated range.
• Cut-off date: Your age, experience and education are counted up to the date the notice was issued, including that day.
• Number of posts: Prasar Bharati may increase or reduce the number of positions depending on its needs.
• Selection: Shortlisted people may be called for a test, an interview or both, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by email. No travel allowance is paid for attending.
