Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow for a National Quantum Mission (NQM) project in Rupnagar, Punjab. You will work under Dr. Vishwa Pal, Associate Professor, on Design and Development of Quantum Entanglement-Enhanced Imaging Systems. The project focuses on experimental quantum optics, with advanced quantum imaging as its wider goal.

The research centres on a customised laser source with controllable spatial coherence. This source is intended to generate entangled photons whose quantum correlations can be controlled, connecting laser development with the imaging system the project aims to build.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project engagement: This is a temporary fellowship tied to the research work. The initial appointment lasts one year, so you should plan your availability around that first period.
