IISER Tirupati Research Associate Chemistry Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Tirupati (IISER Tirupati) is recruiting a Research Associate-1 for a chemistry project led by Dr. Jatish Kumar. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract length: the initial appointment is for one year. A further six months may be offered after a performance review; the extension is not automatic.
• Project-linked appointment: the position ends automatically when the research project ends, without notice or compensation. It does not give you a claim to a permanent appointment or absorption at IISER Tirupati.
• Funding terms: the funding agency's conditions for this project govern the appointment. The notice also mentions a nominal research grant under the programme.
• Travel costs: IISER Tirupati does not pay travel or daily allowance for attending the interview. You will need to cover those expenses yourself.
• Joining: if selected, you must be ready to join immediately after receiving the offer. Keep this condition in mind if you have an existing commitment.
