ECHS Bangalore Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview
Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Station Headquarters Bangalore, under the Ministry of Defence, is recruiting medical, paramedical and non-medical staff for its polyclinics. The notice brings together appointments at Madikeri, BRV Bangalore, Mangalore, Shimoga, Virajpet and Bangalore Whitefield. These are contractual appointments linked to the staffing arrangements for the coming financial year.

Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract: The initial engagement lasts one year. A further year may be offered, depending on performance and the conditions attached to your post.
- Staffing approval: Engagement from April 2027 onward depends on the manning documents for financial year 2027-2028.
- Ex-servicemen reservation: The notice earmarks 60% for Medical Officer and Dental Officer roles, and 70% for the remaining roles.
- Preference: Ex-servicemen and widows of service personnel, including war widows, receive preference within government instructions.
- Travel: You cannot claim travel or daily allowance for attending.
