Dibrugarh University SRF Recruitment 2026

Dibrugarh University SRF Recruitment 2026: Overview

Dibrugarh University is recruiting a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the ISRO-GBP Environmental Observatories Project at its Centre for Atmospheric Studies in Dibrugarh. This is a temporary research engagement connected with atmospheric and environmental observation work, with the initial appointment tied to the project. The role suits someone who already has research exposure in atmospheric science or a closely connected area and wants to work in an interdisciplinary university centre.

The Centre sits within the Faculty of Science and Engineering and brings together physical science, environmental monitoring, remote sensing and computing-based research. Your work will support the project team rather than a general department assignment, so the research theme and the principal investigator's requirements will shape the day-to-day priorities. Experience with data-driven environmental work is especially relevant to this setting.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The initial engagement is for one year and may be extended based on your performance and the project's continuation.
• Preferred background: Research exposure in atmospheric science or allied areas, computer programming and published work will strengthen your profile.
• Travel support: The university will not pay TA or DA for attending the walk-in interview.
• Document check: The interview panel will check original records, while the selected person will receive the outcome by email.
• Notice scope: The original heading and opening paragraph also refer to a Technical Assistant, but the detailed eligibility table supplies a complete entry only for the Senior Research Fellow. No separate Technical Assistant qualification, pay or vacancy entry is stated in that notice.

Read the original advertisement before travelling, particularly because the detailed table and heading do not fully match. The structured details on this listing follow the single role for which the university supplied complete eligibility information.

Application Submission Notes

This is a walk-in process at the Centre for Atmospheric Studies, Dibrugarh University. Report for the rescheduled interaction by 11:00 AM with your CV ready for the panel; it should clearly show your research experience and publication record.

There is no separate online application form in the original notice. Carry the supporting records needed to establish your education, age, research work and publications, because the panel will compare copies with the originals. Questions may be sent to the project contact at binita@dibru.ac.in.
