Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) is offering graduate and technician apprenticeship training at its CSL AN Ship Repair Unit (CANSRU), Sri Vijaya Puram. • Graduate Apprentice, Electronics and Communication Engineering: The graduate stream covers this discipline at CANSRU.
• Technician Apprentice, Mechanical Engineering: This is the mechanical discipline within the diploma training stream.
• Technician Apprentice, Electrical Engineering: This is the electrical discipline within the diploma training stream.
• Technician Apprentice, Electronics and Communication Engineering: This diploma stream is separate from the graduate entry in the same discipline.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Training period: Your apprenticeship lasts one year under the terms of the apprenticeship legislation named in the notice.
• Local domicile: The recruitment is restricted to Indian citizens domiciled in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Sri Vijaya Puram unit is the training location.
• Accommodation: CSL does not provide boarding or lodging during training. You need to make your own arrangements for your stay.
• Travel: Travel expenses are not payable during the apprenticeship period. Consider this alongside your accommodation arrangements.
• After training: Completing the apprenticeship does not give you a right to a job with CSL. The company has no obligation to employ you when training ends.

• Communication: CSL uses your registered email and its CANSRU career page for updates. It will not send certificate-verification call letters by post, so keep checking both channels.
• Availability: Training places depend on the units requirements and facilities. CSL may change the number of places, leave places unfilled or modify or cancel the recruitment.
