CMO Banda Medical Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Office of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Banda is recruiting doctors on contract for programmes run under the National Health Mission (NHM), Uttar Pradesh. • Medical Officer, Telemedicine: Based at Rani Durgavati Medical College, Banda.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract tenure: Appointment is for the current financial year. The District Health Society may extend it after assessing your work; an extension is not automatic.
• Regularisation: These are contractual posts on fixed pay. Taking up the appointment does not give you a claim to a permanent position.
• Vacancy changes: The authority may increase or reduce the notified posts. The advertised distribution is therefore subject to change during recruitment.
• Reservation: Recruitment will follow the reservation policy applied by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
• Travel: You will not receive a travel allowance for attending the interview. Plan your attendance with that condition in mind.
• Ending the contract: If adverse facts come to light, the District Health Society or NHM Uttar Pradesh may terminate the engagement with one month's notice or payment equal to one month's salary instead of notice.
• Existing NHM staff: Contract workers already serving under NHM Uttar Pradesh must meet the applicable human-resource policy conditions, including the no-objection requirement.
