Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS), also known as JEEVIKA, is hiring a MIS Consultant (ERP) to support its digital systems for rural livelihood programmes. The Government of Bihar initiative works through community institutions to strengthen the social and economic position of rural households. This full-time consultancy supports the systems used to manage operational, financial and administrative information across that work.

The wider initiative combines mobile and web applications with support for staff and community members who enter data regularly. Its technical resources support reviews at state, district and block units, as well as improvements to the applications used in the field. Your engagement sits within this ongoing effort to make programme information usable across those levels.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract period: The full-time consultancy can run for up to 11 months in a year. Further extension depends on work requirements and approval from the competent authority. The notice does not promise automatic renewal.
• Entry category: The category assigned when you join remains unchanged throughout the contract period. This engagement follows the society’s consultant policy.
• Leave: Full-time consultants receive one day of casual leave each month. Female consultants can also receive up to two days of special leave in a month.
• Reservation: Bihar’s current reservation policy applies. Reservation benefits are restricted to Bihar domicile applicants, and the permanent address you give in the form is used to determine domicile for this purpose.
• Category declaration: You cannot request a category change after final submission. Check that your declared category is accurate before you finalise the form.
• Information accuracy: Incomplete or false declarations can result in rejection, including when a problem is discovered after appointment. Permission to participate in recruitment does not itself confirm that your information has been accepted.
• Travel costs: BRLPS does not pay travel or daily allowance for attending recruitment activities or for first joining. You should account for these expenses yourself.
• Waiting list: An approved waiting list remains valid for one year. It may be extended by another year if circumstances call for it; a place on the list does not itself guarantee appointment.
• Recruitment changes: BRLPS can change the available positions, modify the recruitment arrangements or cancel all or part of the process. Keep checking the official website for announcements that affect your application.
• Communication: Recruitment announcements are made through the website, without individual communication. Save the relevant notices for your own reference because uploaded information is available only for a limited period.
