Candidates with a Master's degree or PhD in the relevant field can apply by attending a walk-in interview. Walk-in date is 07 March 2026. Age limit: up to 40 years (Men), 45 years (Women).

Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) invites eligible candidates for a walk-in interview for the post of Research Associate (Genetics and Plant Breeding) at the Agricultural Research Station (RARS), Perumallapalle, Tirupati District, Andhra Pradesh. This is a contract position for 11 months under the Education Department.

Who Can Apply

You need to have one of the following qualifications:

  • PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding from an ICAR-accredited university, OR
  • Master's degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding from an ICAR-accredited university with at least 3 years of research experience AND at least 1 publication in an SCI/NAAS-listed journal with an Impact Factor above 4.0

Age Limit (as on 07 March 2026):

  • Men: Maximum 40 years
  • Women: Maximum 45 years

Salary

  • If you hold a Master's degree: Rs. 61,000 per month + HRA
  • If you hold a PhD: Rs. 67,000 per month + HRA
