AIIMS Bilaspur Multi Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bilaspur (AIIMS Bilaspur) is building a project team in its Department of Community and Family Medicine for an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded diabetes study. The research examines whether combined psychosocial and lifestyle support can improve blood-sugar control and reduce diabetes-related distress in rural and tribal primary-care settings. These are temporary project engagements under Prof. (Dr.) Anupam Parashar, with field-based work forming an important part of the study.

Posts and Disciplines

• Project Research Scientist I (Medical): the medical role within the diabetes research team, linked to the community-based study.
• Project Nurse III: a field-based nursing role, with part of the nursing deployment specifically assigned to Kinnaur district.
• Project Technical Support III — Nutrition: the nutrition stream of the project, centred on its dietary and lifestyle intervention context.
• Project Technical Support III — Psychology: the psychology stream, connected to the psychosocial and behaviour-change side of the study.
• Project Technical Support III — Public Health and Social Sciences: the community-research stream, linked to work across the rural and tribal study sites.
• Project Technical Support II: the computer and data-management stream within the project team.
• Project Technical Support I: the office and project-support stream, covering the administrative side of the engagement.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project-only appointment: You cannot claim a permanent AIIMS Bilaspur job or continued employment in another project through this engagement. Your appointment belongs to this particular research project.
• Tenure: The nutrition and psychology engagements run for six months. The other advertised roles run for twelve months, with satisfactory performance required under the notice.
• Kinnaur preference: For the nursing positions assigned to Kinnaur, the institute gives preference to people residing in that district. This preference relates to that deployment within the wider nursing recruitment.
• Travel costs: You must meet your own expenses for attending the interview. The institute will not pay travel or daily allowances, including for SC and ST applicants.
• Conduct: Trying to influence the recruitment through canvassing leads to disqualification. The institute also says it will not entertain enquiries after the closing deadline.
• Call letters: Do not wait for a separate admit card or call letter. The notice says none will be issued for this recruitment exercise.
